It was a pleasure to use the premium Crosman 7.4 gram ammo and there were no problems. I used it for 10 months and fired over 2,000 rounds. Attach binoculars and it is very accurate at 50-70 feet. A great varmint rifle. I would recommend it to everyone. I get about 230 shots per air tank.
The only problem I had with it was air leaking around the throttle. I contacted Sig and they fixed it at no cost to me.
500 7.8 grain pellets pass through it and it works perfectly. Very nicely built and decently accurate with iron sights. very happy with it

This thing is a blast to shoot, I really enjoy it. I have about 150~180 rounds maybe 210 not sure. I'm still in the first tank I screwed in, which was 90 grams. I was worried it would be a gas hog but so far so good and I let the gun sit for a few nights with no problem, picked it up again and started shooting. I threw a red UTG on it, they sell for $80 here, that product is another story. It's not bad either, but once you lock the turrets and/or reset their zero positions the POI will walk, so it's a bit of an iterative process. I can get this thing to shoot 1" rest bands at 50 feet so I reset it... I think it could hold up a little better at full rest. For $209 you can't go wrong, heavy metal construction , made in Japan , not much to hate!
The irons are poorly set up out of the box, the trigger has a consistent but somewhat mechanical feel... not bad but not clear either.
It's small, but I wish it came with a slightly longer grip, it might be a little uncomfortable if your hands are bigger. The gun doesn't seem to like cheap pellets. He currently holds a 7.9g hawk, but these are quite expensive at $17 for 500
This is another nice sig product. Weight and handling are great!!! The accessory options are great. Rated speed of 600fps id be very surprised if this sig doesn't get what is advertised or gets too close to it. Using a sig match lead ball, he gets there quickly with a hard shot. Can't wait to see a real field test on this rattle instrument

Yes, I put 6 magazines in mine. Hitting one-inch groups on the move targets 10 yards to 25 yards away. I have a vertical grip forward, reflex sight and a laser with a magpul AR grip. No jam, empty a few clips at full speed.
How is this barrel length 4" and 30" overall, MCX 17" barrel / 34" overall and the MPX 8" overall / 25" overall? I mean, compact pistols have about a 4" barrel...presumably the measurement was taken from the end of the handguard to the end of the cover? If the measurement is correct, it's technically a pistol. Something like the MP5K /SP89.??????

The Sig Sauer MCX Rattler featured in the Blackout 300 is a great platform with a price tag that made me cry inside. It's a firearm that scores big points in style but lags behind with a problem for me. Definitely worth buying, but should come with a disclaimer.
Let me preface this by saying that I don't go too far for pre-built rifles or AR pistols these days, as I enjoy putting things together and having a little more control over the build process. It usually ends up being a bit cheaper too.
I bought the MCX Rattler pistol configuration as I didn't want to wait for tax stamps on a short barreled rifle (SBR). Still, the Rattler looks remarkably clean. It's compact and easy to store in a backpack or even under a car seat. Since the short barrel length (5") was perfect for maneuvering through narrow hallways and doorways in my home, I found myself personally holding it by my bed. It was furnished with a blocky M-LOK guide that looks really good too.like a stabilizer brace which was honestly garbage Unstable and wobbly Other than that, every non-functional part of this AR pistol is solid.
. I don't like the 9 pound trigger pull on my AR rifles or pistols or basically any firearm. It makes it much more difficult to shoot accurately at longer distances. This is one of the issues that really plagues this rifle. I will definitely need to modify it to make it tolerable.

However, if you look back, the accuracy is actually pretty good. I fired a small red dot sight and was just trying to aim fifty yards. Groups were solid with three inch groups when shooting a casual shot. Beyond that, I was able to maintain 3 MOA while seated and focused very well. Unless I'm using a Low Power Variable Optic (LPVO) or some sort of magnified optic and frankly binoculars look ridiculous for it, I usually don't go beyond that.
Other than that, I don't know what else I could ask for. It is ergonomic, portable, and extremely quiet with its subsonic ammo and suppressor. Also, this gun was originally made for military and special operations, so it definitely itches. I managed to find a practical use, but there are some options that are much cheaper, although they don't look that cool. I'm not going to go straight and buy this right now, but I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed if you pull the trigger.
